Hello,
I saw your notice in the WWOOF directory.
I am trying to develop my skills as a dry stone waller. I have had some experience working for a stonemason and am working my way towards accreditation as a stone waller. So I was wondering if you needed some help with building/maintenance of dry stone walls on your farm. I live in Co Antrim and work week on week off in my job with the NHS. So if you needed work I could give 4 or 5 days every fortnight and maybe more on occassion.
If you need this type of work on your farm I look forward to your reply.

Klaus has confirmed to me that the next day of the 4 day course on Organic Vegetable Production will be the 23rd of May. the Organic Vegetable Growing course which started here yesterday, April 18th, attracted so much interest that John & I have decided to run a series of evening classes as well. Already we have a number of people signing up, so if you're interested, get in touch! This course will probably be a 2 or 3 hour session on a midweek evening which suits most people. It's almost too late in the year, feb/march is best, but there's lots of willow to be cut down and taken away at Greenhill farm. Inishowen Organic Group started as a subgroup of the Western Organic Network and over the years it has become a self supporting way of keeping people in Inishowen in touch with each other. The first piece of news I have is that there will be a four day (Saturdays) course taking place here starting on April 18th. Welcome to the Greenhill farm blog. |
